Solid Paver Color, Through and Through
At CST pavers, unlike many of our competitors who offer a “two-piece manufacturing process” we have a much better method when creating our pavers. Some other paver companies claim to have a protection layer added into their paving stones. At CST pavers, we have remained true to our philosophy that this style of construction is more of a gimmick, the original purpose of a two piece process was to save the cost of color thru out the entire paver. We use a solid “one-piece construction” for all of our paving stones, and VERSA-LOK® retaining wall products. Instead of separating the process, we find it more efficient and structurally sound to cast our products in one piece. We mix the concrete and colors together to create our own unique one piece product which allows all of our paving stones to have the same color and consistency, through and through.

VERSA-LOK® retaining walls come with great looking options and design flexibility. The wall façade designs are offered in traditional textured, or weathered looks. The color options range from blended to solid, and our unique slot pinning system always produces a quality look with no gaps. The reason CST Pavers uses the slot pinning technique, instead of a variety of other stabilizing methods, is to achieve the most stable and solid design in the industry when building with retaining wall stones.
These retaining walls offer superior resistance to damage; they are built to last. The secret to the stability of the VERSA-LOK® system’s stability is due to the fact that there are set backs between the wall courses which allows the walls to lean back into the soil. For construction, this stepped system enables VERSA-LOK® blocks to create retaining walls up to 50 feet in height.
Our retaining walls are made from high-strength concrete units, dry-stacked, interlocked with pins, and set on granular leveling pads. None of CST pavers retaining walls will ever need frost footings.
